We have an inpatient unit which consists of a 9- bedded ward, all of which are individual side rooms. Four of these have ensuite facilities. Admission is for symptom management, end of life care, or planned respite. We are a short-stay unit, 1-2 weeks per admission.

We also have a day service, which consists of a fortnightly Breath of Fresh Air group on a Tuesday, and day hospice on a Wednesday. Family carers are welcome to these events as well.

We have a Hospice At Home team which supports people who want to die at home. They work from 07.30-19.30 daily.

Our Complementary Therapy team support patients living with incurable illness and their family carers. They provide a range of therapies which are discussed with you if you are referred.

Our Family Support Service provides bereavement support to patients and family carers coming to terms with living with an incurable illness, and to family carers after the person has died. It is not a counselling service, but it is a talking therapy which can be very helpful to most people.

Education service: can provide courses on end of life care, and bespoke educatin can be commissioned too.
