Mind in Furness offers person centred and individually tailored support within its Recovery Programme. The programme consists of a catalogue of courses, activities and where needed one to one support and the client can mix and match the various elements of the programme to suit their individual needs in the timescales offered. This allows clients to access a variety of interventions under one programme heading with personalised outcomes. For maximum client benefit and in order to achieve specified outcomes the minimum attendance would ideally be 1 session per week for 16 weeks, although some clients’ needs will be met by additional activities/days.   Alternatively if clients have one particular need that can be met in a 2 week course, attendance may be less, this can be decided in discussion with client on referral. For clients needing continued/further input or maintenance support and bearing in mind the many different needs within mental health this period can be extended following review with client and referring agent. Activities in this programme include Recovery Star Programme, Mindfulness Programme, Taking Control Workshops (Self Esteem, Self-Awareness, Action for Happiness,  Negative thoughts, Anxiety, Depression, Panic Attacks, Health Anxiety) Peer Support Groups including Craft, Healthy Eating , Hearing Voices, Women’s and Men’ Group, Over 55’s Peer Group.
