Marie is a fully qualified (BSc Hons first class) and insured Medical Herbalist providing Herbal Medicine consultations and workshops in the South Lake District. She is a member of NIMH, the regulating body for herbalists in the UK.

Herbal Medicine is the oldest known form of medicine and uses full strength natural whole plant medicines to restore and maintain health. As a qualified Medical Herbalist Marie is trained in medical sciences including pharmacology so can safely work alongside your existing healthcare providers and medications.

Herbal Medicine can provide an effective alternative treatment for some conditions and work alongside existing treatments for others. Some of the common conditions herbalists are often asked to help with include the following;
