Inglewood Day Centre is open, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9am - 3pm.  It is situated just out of Wigton town centre but within a short walk of the Doctor's surgery, where there is a pharmacy next door.

We offer a wide range of therapeutic and stimulating activities and encourage everyone to participate.  Our activities range includes, chair based excerises to music, quizzes, word games, sing-songs, skittles, hoop-la, knitting, sewing, musical games, reminiscence, pampering sessions and anything else that is requested that we can organise.  Periodically we have trips out and have been to local garden centres as well as Silloth, Workington and Whitehaven.

There is a hairdresser in the home most days so there is always the opportunity for a "short back and sides", a "shampoo and set" or a perm.

Lunch is provided by Inglewood kitchen staff and there is always a choice.

We have an assisted bath where we can help someone have a bath whilst retaining their dignity and respect at all times.  Our staff are NVQ trained and are able to assist with all aspects of personal care.

Our aim is to promote independence at all times whilst protecting dignity and respect.  We want to make attending Day Care a fun and interesting day out for everyone and whilst we appreciate that everyone is different, we try to give everyone equal opportunities.
